Molokai Condo

Isn't it amazing how EXCITING PEACEFUL can be? Well if that is what you have been looking for, then nestled between the Islands of Maui and O'ahu you'll find the Island of Molokai. Once you've been there you'll know why they call it "The Friendly Isle".

Molokai is what the other islands used to be many years ago. The pace of life is slower on Molokai and you won't experience crowded beaches, heavy traffic or the need for a traffic light, causing you to truly experience a relaxing vacation. As you feel the trade winds gently blowing on your face, you can walk miles of white sand beaches. Our upstairs condo is located at the Kaluakoi Resort, and is one of six upstairs and six downstairs units in a Polynesian style building.

Being on the west end (leeward side) of the island, you get more sunshine than rain. And the upstairs advantage is a quiet and relaxing atmosphere free of noise from upstairs residences.

Our newly upgraded one bedroom condo with lanai boasts 566 total square feet and has a fully upgraded kitchen with a full size refrigerator, range and oven, microwave, cookware, utensils, bar and stools. A stairway leads up to a queen size bed, beautiful berber carpet and boasts 124 suare feet.

The unit contains a hide-a-bed couch, ceiling fan, tiled bath and shower, TV/VCR with local stations, phone and free local calls. Free wireless Internet access is now availabe as well. There is a coin operated laundry facility and barbecue on the grounds.

Our condo is located a short walk from the parking lot, which assures you won't be disturbed by parking lot noise. You can sit and relax on your own private lanai terrace where you can sip a cup of locally grown coffee, and enjoy a view of the ocean through the palm trees and well maintained resort grounds.

Kepuhi beach fronts the condo complex. It's a beautiful white sand beach and a favorite for surfing, boogie boarding and sun bathing. View the island of O'ahu, and also see whales and their babies breaching the ocean during the winter season. A short walk on the shoreline brings you to a series of white sand beaches, including the longest in the Hawaiian chain, where you may find you have the beach all to yourself.

The condo is located thirteen miles from the airport and the closest town is six miles away at Maunaloa. This newly renovated village has a nice grocery store, Post Office, three screen movie theater, and the magestic Moloka'i Ranch Lodge with restaurant frequently featuring Hawaiian music. The main town of Kaunakakai is only 19.5 miles away.

As of Feb. 2009 there is a bus that runs from the town of Kaunakakai to our condo at the Kaluakoi Resort. It is free and runs throughout the day. Call for info. 808-553-3218
